Ohio Postal Worker Fatally Shot in Targeted Attack; Investigation Underway

In a tragic incident in Warren, Ohio, a 33-year-old postal worker, Jonte Davis, was fatally shot while inside his mail van in what police are describing as a “targeted attack.” The shooting occurred Saturday afternoon, approximately 60 miles southeast of Cleveland, as a gunman opened fire from another car. Following the incident, police located the suspect’s vehicle in a nearby driveway, leading to a search warrant being issued for both the home and the car. The Warren Police Department, having responded to reports of shots fired on Olive Avenue NE, found Davis with a gunshot wound in his USPS vehicle.
