Man Found Dead After Being Pushed in Office Chair Outside Staten Island Pizza Shop

A disturbing incident unfolded in Staten Island, New York, as surveillance footage captured two individuals pushing a man in an office chair to the back of a local pizza shop, where he was later found dead. Law enforcement sources revealed that the man, aged 32, was possibly suffering from an overdose. The suspects, caught on camera, returned only to retrieve the chair, leaving the victim lying motionless on the ground.

The shocking body dump occurred around 2 a.m. on Sunday, as the duo rolled the incapacitated man from a nearby apartment on Van Riper Street to the pizza place on Port Richmond Avenue. They then placed him on the ground before departing the scene. The lifeless body was discovered by a worker at the pizzeria when she opened the shop at approximately 6:15 a.m. Tragically, the man was declared dead at the scene.

While the victim displayed bruising on his nose, it remains unclear whether the trauma occurred before or after his passing. According to sources, the man’s roommate informed authorities that he witnessed him ingesting a powdery substance through his nose before losing consciousness. Realizing his roommate might be experiencing a drug overdose, the roommate and another individual brought him outside for fresh air. However, the roommate fled the apartment out of fear of potential consequences.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of death. Law enforcement sources are currently seeking at least two individuals in connection with the incident.
