Two women are now wanted by Maryland authorities for a brazen assault involving flying food and chairs inside a Chipotle restaurant. The chaotic scene, which has captured public attention, unfolded at approximately 10 p.m. on Nov. 26 at the Chipotle located on the 900 block of Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring, as reported by the Montgomery County Police Department.
Dramatic surveillance footage from inside the restaurant captures the initial interaction between the female suspects and a Chipotle employee at the counter. The situation rapidly escalates as the video cuts to a different angle, showing the women engaging with another worker near the tables.
In a moment straight out of a movie, one of the suspects, caught in a fit of rage, hurls her drink at the unsuspecting employee, who appears to be tidying up for closing. Her accomplice quickly joins in the melee, seizing a chair and launching it toward the worker. The first suspect, not to be outdone, also grabs a chair and flings it in a shocking act of aggression.
The circumstances that sparked this alleged second-degree assault remain a mystery, as police have yet to disclose what triggered the violent outburst at the popular eatery.
Both suspects, described as Black females, have distinct appearances. One was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue shorts, and orange slippers. Her partner in crime was identified by her long black hair, a long white coat, leggings, and brown boots.
With the public’s help now sought in the manhunt, authorities are offering a hefty reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrests of these unruly suspects. This wild incident at Chipotle has turned into a hot topic, leaving the community on edge as police continue their search for the chair-wielding duo.
