Deputy Communications Chief Margo Martin Stands by Former President Trump as Criminal Trial Begins

Deputy Communications Chief Margo Martin, a loyal and stylish member of Donald Trump’s inner circle, accompanied the former president to Manhattan criminal court as his first criminal trial began. Martin, 27, documented Trump’s departure from Trump Tower for “day 1 of the Biden Trial” on her Instagram story. She was later spotted sitting in the back row alongside Jason Miller, senior adviser to Trump, as jury selection commenced for the trial involving hush money payments allegedly made by the ex-president to former porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy playmate Karen McDougal prior to the 2016 election.

Martin, donning a black pantsuit with gold buttons, was captured in photographs inside the courthouse. Trump faces 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records to conceal the substantial amounts he purportedly paid to the two women, aiming to prevent them from publicly disclosing their alleged affairs with him. Hailing from Oklahoma, Martin has remained steadfastly by Trump’s side amidst numerous scandals, distinguishing herself as one of the few press officers who stayed on after the 2020 election. She previously served as a press assistant during Trump’s tenure in the White House and later assumed the role of deputy director of communications for his Save America PAC in preparation for the 2024 campaign season.
