A dead body was discovered in the back of a stolen U-Haul truck parked in a Mid-City neighborhood of Los Angeles on Thursday. The Los Angeles Police were alerted to the scene on the 2400 block of South Redondo Boulevard shortly before 11 a.m. following reports from a concerned passerby. The individual claimed to have seen what appeared to be a body covered by a tarp in the rear of the truck and noticed a foul odor emanating from it.
Upon arrival, officers confirmed that the U-Haul truck had indeed been reported stolen. However, the police have not released any information regarding the deceased individual at this time, according to Officer Charles Miller.
