Authorities Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Gilroy Shooting Suspect

Authorities in Gilroy are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting incident that occurred last month. The Gilroy Police Department has released a surveillance image of the suspect, who is believed to be responsible for injuring a victim in the parking lot of Nob Hill Foods on March 31.

According to the police, the shooting took place shortly before 5 p.m. following a verbal altercation between the victim and the suspect. The confrontation escalated when the suspect drew a firearm and fired at the victim, resulting in at least one gunshot wound. The victim was subsequently treated at a local hospital for their injuries.

The released surveillance image depicts the suspect wearing sunglasses, a dark-colored jacket with a white logo on the upper left chest, and dark-colored pants. Additionally, the suspect was seen riding a skateboard during the incident.
