One woman, identified as 38-year-old Cynthia Lail, was killed last night when a police car collided with her minivan during a chase. The incident occurred as officers were pursuing a motorcyclist who was driving recklessly.
Lail drove her minivan into an intersection during the chase and was struck by the police car. Tragically, Lail succumbed to her injuries. A child who was also in Lail’s vehicle sustained serious injuries.
The officer involved in the crash has been placed on administrative leave. The motorcyclist managed to escape from the scene.
