Woman Brutally Attacked and Robbed in Bronx Furniture Store

A 24-year-old woman was subjected to a vicious assault and robbery inside the Fat Albert and Hollywood Furniture store located on East 138th Street near St. Ann’s Avenue in Mott Haven, Bronx. The incident occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, as confirmed by authorities.

According to the police, a group of two men and two women forcefully approached the victim within the store premises. Without any provocation, they proceeded to strike her with a blunt instrument, causing a cut on her head. In a further act of cruelty, the assailants snatched her cellphone and callously doused her with bleach before fleeing the scene.

The victim, whose affiliation with the store remains unverified, was promptly transported to Lincoln Medical Center for medical attention. The severity of her injuries has not been disclosed.

Late Tuesday, the NYPD released photographs of the suspected attackers. One of the male assailants is described as having a dark complexion, wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, and black sneakers. The other male suspect, also with a dark complexion, was last seen donning a black T-shirt with a graphic, dark gray pants, a black and red baseball cap, and gray sneakers. One of the female assailants, with a light complexion, was wearing a black T-shirt with a graphic, black pants, and white shoes during the incident. The other female suspect, described as having a medium complexion, was seen wearing a dark gray T-shirt.
