Thieves Steal Porsches Worth Over $500,000 in Daring Fremont Heist

In a daring heist that took place in Fremont, California, two thieves drove off with two high-end Porsches from a local car dealership. The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, prompting a swift response from the Fremont Police Department.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a Porsche 911 GT3 had been stolen from the dealership’s showroom floor. The combined value of the stolen vehicles was estimated to be over $500,000. The method used by the thieves to gain access to the dealership remains undisclosed, as does their means of obtaining the keys to the cars.

Law enforcement officers diligently recorded crucial details about the stolen vehicles and their last known direction. Later that day, the abandoned Porsche 911 GT3 RS was recovered in Milpitas and returned to the dealership.

The following day, police investigators narrowed down the whereabouts of the second stolen vehicle and conducted surveillance in a Hayward neighborhood. Detectives successfully identified a suspect, 22-year-old Nova Moore, who was seen driving the stolen Porsche. During Moore’s arrest, officers discovered a loaded handgun, along with several high-capacity rifles, stolen property, money, and a police radio scanner at his residence.

Nova Moore now faces multiple charges, including burglary, driving or taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and willfully resisting a peace officer.

Authorities are currently seeking information to locate the second individual involved in the Porsche heist. Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the Fremont Police Department’s Special Operations Division Detective at adennis@fremont.gov or (510) 790-6900.
