Singer has filed a lawsuit against singer Jason Derulo, accusing him of sexual harassment. The lawsuit, filed in a Los Angeles court on Thursday, alleges that Derulo made inappropriate advances towards Singer after recruiting her for a record deal. According to court documents, Derulo allegedly demanded sexual acts from Singer in order for him to fulfill his role as her mentor and supervisor. The lawsuit also claims that Derulo engaged in other inappropriate behavior, including inviting Singer to late-night dinners and drinks and berating her during a recording session. Singer is seeking unpaid wages, loss of earnings, and damages for emotional distress. Derulo and Singer’s legal teams have not yet commented on the lawsuit.
