Shocking Lawsuit Alleges West Hollywood Restaurant Facilitated Sexual Assaults by Former Porn Star Ron Jeremy

A new lawsuit has been filed against the iconic West Hollywood restaurant, Rainbow Bar & Grill, alleging that it intentionally created a dangerous and hostile environment that allowed former porn star Ron Jeremy to sexually assault female patrons. The plaintiff, known as Jane Doe 7105, claims that Rockin’ Horse Inc., the owners of the establishment, not only knew about Jeremy’s abusive behavior but also actively facilitated, concealed, and ratified his illegal actions.

This lawsuit marks the fourth of its kind, following similar allegations made by three other unnamed women against the restaurant. The suit further implicates 25 individuals, referred to as Does 1 through 25, who are accused of negligence and being responsible for Jane Doe’s injuries.

Ron Jeremy, born Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, has faced multiple accusations of forcible rape, assault, and sexual battery by women ranging from 15 to 51 years old. In 2021, he pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of sexual assault spanning over a 23-year period. However, due to an “incurable neurocognitive decline,” he was deemed unfit to stand trial and was placed in a California mental health hospital. In November 2023, he was released to a private residence due to his deteriorating health.

During Jeremy’s criminal trial, prosecutors revealed that at least eight of his assaults had taken place at the Rainbow Bar & Grill. Despite the mounting allegations, Jeremy has consistently denied all claims of sexual assault and rape, dismissing them as “pure lies or buyers remorse.”

According to the lawsuit filed by Jane Doe 7105, the incident occurred in mid-2013 when she visited the Rainbow Bar & Grill with friends. Allegedly, Jeremy approached her and offered to show her something, leading her to believe it would be a tour or a glimpse of the restaurant’s memorabilia. Instead, she was taken through the kitchen and into the private employee’s restroom, where Jeremy exposed himself. In a terrifying ordeal, he pressed himself against her while making inappropriate comments. Fortunately, she managed to escape and immediately informed her friends before fleeing the establishment.

Attorney Jemma Dunn, representing Jane Doe, emphasizes that this lawsuit aims to hold accountable not only those who directly committed the assaults but also those who enabled Jeremy’s alleged behavior. Dunn states, “Those who perpetrate sexual assault are not alone in the burden of responsibility, but those who stood idly by and enabled those assaults to occur are equally to blame.” She expresses her pride in supporting her client’s pursuit of justice and accountability against those who empowered her assailant.

Seeking damages for physical and mental pain and suffering, Jane Doe hopes to shed light on the lasting impact of these traumatic experiences. The lawsuit acknowledges that her pain will continue in the future, potentially requiring ongoing medical care.

In a statement to Rolling Stone, Jane Doe shares her motivation for coming forward, stating, “I have told my story for a decade, those that know me know this. When a friend reached out because she saw two women come forward, I knew in my heart that I had to help these women and any others thinking about coming forward. I am doing this for all of his victims, as well as a younger version of myself that didn’t have a voice.”

As this shocking lawsuit unfolds, the allegations against the Rainbow Bar & Grill and Ron Jeremy continue to send shockwaves through West Hollywood. The community eagerly awaits the outcome of this legal battle, hoping for justice and accountability for the victims of these alleged assaults.
