In a tragic incident on Friday morning, four individuals lost their lives when a DUI suspect, who had evaded police, collided with another vehicle in Upland, California. The incident began around 2 a.m. when a San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy in Rancho Cucamonga attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the DUI suspect. However, the suspect refused to comply, leading to a high-speed car chase that eventually entered Upland.
According to reports from KTLA-TV, the pursuit came to a devastating end at the intersection of North Mountain Avenue and West 16th Street, where the suspect’s vehicle crashed into another car.
