USPS Letter Carrier Injured in Armed Robbery in Union City

A United States Postal Service letter carrier was injured during an armed robbery that took place in Union City over the weekend, according to the Union City Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Saturday in the 4600 block of Granada Way, near Union City and Regents boulevards.

The Union City Police Department revealed in a news release that the suspects brandished a firearm while robbing the letter carrier. The victim sustained minor injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical attention.

The Union City Police Department Investigations Unit, in collaboration with the United States Postal Service, is currently conducting an investigation into the robbery. As of Monday night, the suspects involved in the incident remain at large.
