Two Found Dead with Gunshot Wounds in Brooklyn Apartment

Cops are currently investigating the deaths of a man and woman who were found shot in the head inside an apartment in Brooklyn. The incident occurred on Friday at approximately 4:45 p.m. when officers responded to a 911 call reporting a “crime in progress” at an apartment on Logan Street, near Etna Street in Cypress Hills.

Upon arrival, the police discovered the lifeless bodies of a 43-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both with gunshot wounds to their heads. A firearm was recovered near the deceased man. The investigation is ongoing, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD). The identities of the victims have not been disclosed pending notification of their families.

In a separate incident in Brooklyn, a 36-year-old man was assaulted and stabbed by a group of assailants on Friday night. The attack took place around 9:50 p.m. at 225 East 65th Street in Sunset Park. The victim was approached by five unidentified men who proceeded to beat him before one of them stabbed him in the left thigh and right shoulder. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the victim to Lutheran Medical Center, where he is currently in stable condition. No arrests have been made in connection with this incident.

Moving to the Bronx, a 38-year-old man sustained a single gunshot wound to his right leg during an argument with another individual inside 535 Union Ave., near Southern Boulevard, at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday. The victim was taken to Lincoln Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition. No arrests have been made in relation to this shooting.

  • This is absolutely outrageous and heartbreaking! The fact that two innocent individuals were found shot in the head is beyond comprehension. It is a chilling reminder of the senseless violence that plagues our society. These victims had families, friends, and dreams for their future, all of which have been brutally stolen from them.

    It is deeply disturbing that such heinous acts continue to occur in our communities. We should feel safe and protected in our own homes, but incidents like this shatter that sense of security.
