He shared a personal experience of finding solace in prayer while being held in a jail cell after the Grammys incident. Render expressed his newfound belief and credited his prayers for the subsequent news of his son’s kidney match.

The rapper’s arrest occurred shortly after his performance of the song “Exit 9” on The Late Show, where he dedicated the rendition to his grandmother, Betty.
