Person of Interest Sought in Arson Investigation at SF Archers Archery Range

The Pacifica Police Department is actively seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in an ongoing arson investigation. According to a press release issued by the Pacifica police, on April 10 at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a fire at the SF Archers archery range located on Rifle Range Road.

Upon arrival, officers were informed by a witness that they had observed an individual igniting the fire before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, the vigilant witness managed to capture a photograph of the suspect. The person in question has been described as a 20 to 30-year-old Asian male with long black hair, which was styled in a ponytail at the time of the incident. The suspect was also seen wearing sunglasses and a cloak or cape garment. Notably, the individual was in possession of a Mongolian style horse bow.

Further investigation by police authorities revealed that the subject had frequented the SF Archers archery range on multiple occasions over the past month. As a result, the Pacifica Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the person of interest to come forward and contact them directly or utilize the Silent Witness Tip Line.

The Pacifica Police Department is committed to resolving this arson case and ensuring the safety of the community. Cooperation from the public is crucial in bringing the individual responsible for this incident to justice. Updates on the investigation will be provided as they become available.
