Multiple Shootings Rock New York City on Bloody Saturday Night

Multiple shootings occurred across New York City on a violent Saturday night, leaving several individuals injured and the authorities scrambling to investigate the incidents. In Brownsville’s Livonia Park, a party turned into a scene of chaos when gunfire erupted, resulting in two people being shot. The victims, a 53-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man, were struck by bullets around 10:30 p.m. The woman sustained multiple gunshot wounds, including one in the right leg and two in the torso, while the man was shot in his left leg. Both victims were promptly transported to Brookdale Hospital, where they are currently in stable condition.

Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident near Nehemiah Park, a 17-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to his left leg at approximately 4:40 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and the police have not determined whether it was accidental. The teenager is in stable condition, and the investigation is ongoing.

In the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx, a 43-year-old man was shot in the left leg at the intersection of Bronx River Avenue and East 172nd Street. The suspect, described as a Hispanic male wearing a white shirt, fled the scene in a sedan and remains at large. The victim is currently in stable condition, and law enforcement agencies are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the perpetrator.

Approximately a mile away, in Charlotte Gardens, another shooting occurred five hours later. A 43-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his right foot, and the assailant managed to escape. The investigation into this incident is also ongoing.

In Manhattanville’s Grant Houses, two individuals were shot around 7:30 p.m. A 37-year-old man was struck in the shoulder, while a 20-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to her right hand. Both victims were swiftly transported to the hospital and are now in stable condition. The suspect, described as a male wearing a white shirt and black pants, is currently evading capture.
