A man was discovered deceased at the site of an RV fire that occurred on Thursday morning in Gilroy, according to the local police department. The incident took place around 6:30 a.m. in an alleyway located in the 7200 block of Rosanna Street. Responding to the report, officers from the Gilroy Police Department arrived at the scene to find an RV and an adjacent structure fully engulfed in flames at the rear of a residential property.
As a precautionary measure, nearby residents were evacuated while the Gilroy firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the fire. During the investigation, detectives uncovered the remains of an unidentified man inside the RV. The individual’s identity has yet to be confirmed.
