Elusive Burglar Strikes Redlands Pediatric Dentistry, Stealing Rare Dr. Seuss Prints Worth Thousands

An audacious burglar managed to evade capture after breaking into Pediatric Dentistry of Redlands and making off with two highly valuable and limited-edition Dr. Seuss prints. The incident, which occurred on the morning of January 7th, has left detectives scrambling for leads, as the elusive thief left behind few clues.

The brazen act of breaking and entering unfolded when the suspect smashed through the glass front door of the dental practice located on Ford Street. Once inside, the cunning intruder targeted the prints, which were prominently displayed in a hallway and a back office. The stolen artworks, Green Eggs and Ham and Stars Upon Thars, hold an estimated value of $15,000 and $3,000, respectively.

City spokesman Carl Baker revealed that surveillance footage captured the hooded figure responsible for the crime. However, the suspect’s identity remains shrouded in mystery, leaving investigators with limited leads. Redlands police are now appealing to the public for any information that could aid in their pursuit of justice.

Dentist Cameron E. Fuller, the unfortunate victim of this audacious burglary, has chosen to remain tight-lipped about the incident. As the investigation unfolds, the stolen prints have revealed themselves to be part of The Art of Dr. Seuss Collection, a series that has gained immense popularity over its two-decade history. Many of these works have become exceedingly rare or have sold out entirely, making them highly sought after by collectors.

Theodor Seuss Geisel, the beloved author and illustrator behind more than 60 iconic children’s books, including the stolen prints, passed away in 1991 at the age of 87. His legacy continues to captivate readers of all ages, and the theft of these valuable prints has sent shockwaves through the community.

As the Redlands police work tirelessly to bring the elusive burglar to justice, the public is urged to come forward with any information that could help crack this case wide open. The fate of these cherished Dr. Seuss prints hangs in the balance, and the community eagerly awaits the day when justice will be served and these stolen treasures can be returned to their rightful place.
