In a tragic incident on Friday morning, four individuals lost their lives when a DUI suspect, who had evaded police, collided with another vehicle in Upland, California. The incident began around 2 a.m. when a San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy in Rancho Cucamonga attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the DUI suspect. However, the suspect refused to comply, leading to a high-speed car chase that eventually entered Upland.
According to reports from KTLA-TV, the pursuit came to a devastating end at the intersection of North Mountain Avenue and West 16th Street, where the suspect’s vehicle crashed into another car. Tragically, all four occupants of the pursued vehicle lost their lives in the collision. Two individuals involved in the crash were also injured and have been hospitalized for treatment.
