In Glendale, a dramatic police chase ensued on Wednesday, culminating in an unusual arrest. Officers from the Glendale Police Department engaged in a pursuit that started on Port Washington Road just before noon, following an attempt to stop a stolen white Dodge Durango. Newly released body camera and dash camera footage captured the intensity of the chase.

As police attempted to deploy stop sticks, the driver of the Durango swerved, colliding with two other vehicles, then veered onto I-43 against oncoming traffic. The Durango eventually crashed into the highway barrier, leading its four occupants to flee on foot. Officers quickly detained one suspect, while the remaining three initiated a chase across the highway.
