Grace Kelley, the 27-year-old daughter of country singer Wynonna Judd and her ex-husband Arch Kelley III, has been charged with soliciting prostitution, indecent exposure, and obstructing government operations. The arrest took place on April 5 in Millbrook, Alabama, according to sheriff’s records.
Kelley’s arrest came after she was spotted holding a sign that read “A Ride for a Ride” along a busy highway. Millbrook Police Chief P.K. Johnson confirmed that Kelley’s chest and private parts were unclothed at the time. Prior to her arrest, she had been causing disturbances at local businesses, claiming she had been robbed.
When officers initially approached Kelley at one of the businesses, she argued with them about the legality of her actions, stating that it was not illegal for her to offer herself in exchange for rides. Although the officers did not arrest her then, Kelley continued her behavior and was eventually apprehended at the intersection of the highway and an interstate route.
Kelley did not have any drugs or drug paraphernalia on her at the time of her arrest, according to Chief Johnson. However, he noted that it appeared she had recently used drugs based on her booking photo. Johnson mentioned that he had spoken to Kelley’s father, but only a representative from Judd’s side had reached out.
Currently, Kelley remains in custody with a bail set at $2,000, which may increase due to the new solicitation charge. The Millbrook Police Department was unavailable for immediate comment.
Kelley’s troubled past includes previous drug-related arrests in Alabama and Tennessee between 2015 and 2017. In June 2018, she was sentenced to eight years in prison after leaving a court-ordered rehab program prematurely. She was granted parole in December 2022, but has faced subsequent arrests for probation and restraining order violations.
