A police chase in Milwaukee ended in a dramatic crash near a gas station at Teutonia and Villard. Viewer video captured the moment when a car came to rest on top of a short brick wall. The incident occurred just before noon on Wednesday. The footage also shows an SUV crashing into a gas station sign shortly after the initial crash. Moments later, a person can be seen jumping out of the car and running across the gas station parking lot.
According to Milwaukee police, the driver of the car that caused the crash had run a red light and collided with another vehicle. The car was reportedly wanted in connection with an armed robbery and had fled from a previous traffic stop. Two individuals in the other vehicle sustained injuries but are expected to survive.
The driver, a 33-year-old man, was arrested at the scene. A 36-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car was also taken into custody.
