Court records indicate that Davis received sentences of 10 years for each count of child neglect, with sentences suspended, and a 30-year sentence for homicide, with 15 years suspended.

Logan’s father, Alvin “Wayne” Bowman, who had last seen his son when he dropped him off with Davis on Christmas Day 2002, expressed both relief and heartache upon hearing the news. Describing Logan as a good kid who loved school and church, Bowman revealed that their church already had a gravestone prepared for a proper burial. We have to go on, one day I will see him in heaven,” he shared.
