Youth Arrested for Threatening Lives at Morgan Hill Facility

A youth has been apprehended by the Morgan Hill Police Department on suspicion of making threats against community members at a facility operated by the city of Morgan Hill. The arrest follows a tip received by the police department on Monday, which prompted an immediate investigation into the matter. The facility in question has not been named, and the exact nature of the threat has not been disclosed.

Working in collaboration with the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Secret Service, detectives diligently pursued the case. As a precautionary measure, officers were assigned to monitor the facility while the investigation unfolded. After thorough examination, the detectives have determined that the threat was not credible, and there is no danger to the community.
