A police chase involving Warren Police ended in Hamtramck, Michigan, after a man wearing a ski mask failed to stop for officers. The chase began when the driver of a black Ram truck with no license plates refused to pull over. The driver was spotted wearing a ski mask, and the pursuit ensued.
During the chase, the fleeing driver rammed into a minivan, causing damage. The pursuit continued into Detroit, where the driver communicated with someone to have another vehicle waiting. The driver then abandoned the Ram truck and got into a black Cadillac Escalade.
Warren Police later discovered that the Ram truck had been stolen from Sterling Heights. Three men, including a teenager and another in his 30s, were inside the Escalade. They are suspected of being involved in a series of crimes, including home invasion and narcotics offenses.
The chase came to an end when the fleeing driver ran a red light and collided with another vehicle. Two out of the three suspects were apprehended by Warren and Detroit police near the residence of Nick Morgan’s grandmother.
The investigation is ongoing, and the suspects are expected to face multiple serious felony charges.
