A Vacaville resident, identified as 29-year-old Daniel Subia III, was apprehended by American Canyon police officers after allegedly stealing car parts from a local auto parts store. The incident occurred on February 15 at approximately 2 p.m. at Pick-N-Pull, a used auto parts store and car/truck salvage yard in American Canyon, California.
According to authorities, witnesses observed Subia throwing car parts over the store’s fence and loading them into his vehicle. After successfully pilfering the parts, the suspect fled the scene, heading southbound on Highway 29. Promptly responding to the theft report, American Canyon police officers located and detained Subia. Upon searching his vehicle, law enforcement discovered the stolen car parts from Pick-N-Pull.
In addition to the stolen items, officers also uncovered an unserialized loaded pistol, suspected fentanyl, and methamphetamine in Subia’s possession. The stolen car parts were subsequently returned to Pick-N-Pull.
Following his arrest, Subia was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections. He now faces charges related to theft, possession of illegal substances, and firearms offenses.
