Two Teens Stabbed in Queens Street Altercation, 14-Year-Old Arrested for Gang Assault

Two teenagers, aged 16 and 18, were stabbed during a violent altercation on a street in Astoria Heights, Queens, on Monday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of 21st Avenue and 74th Street. The 18-year-old victim sustained a single stab wound to the back, while the 16-year-old boy was stabbed once in the right leg, according to the police.

Both victims were promptly transported to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where they are currently listed in stable condition, as confirmed by law enforcement officials. The identity of the victims has not been disclosed.

In connection with the stabbing, authorities have apprehended a 14-year-old boy, whose name remains undisclosed due to his status as a minor. The teenager has been charged with gang assault. The motive behind the violent attack remains unclear at this time.
