Two Suspects Arrested in Gang-Related Triple Shooting in San Jose

San Jose police have apprehended two suspects in connection with a gang-related triple shooting that occurred over two weeks ago. The incident took place on February 11 at approximately 4:50 p.m. in the vicinity of Lotus Street and Appian Lane, according to a news release by San Jose police Officer Tanya Hernandez.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two men who had sustained at least one gunshot wound each. Both victims were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Subsequently, it was revealed that a third victim had independently arrived at a hospital, also suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Investigators swiftly identified the shooting suspects on February 12 as an 18-year-old San Jose resident and a 16-year-old minor, stated Hernandez. Both individuals were located in San Jose and subsequently taken into custody. The older suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on charges of gang-motivated attempted murder, while the younger suspect was booked into Juvenile Hall on the same charge.

During a search of the younger suspect’s residence, law enforcement officials discovered a loaded 3D-printed handgun. This finding further adds to the gravity of the case.
