Two suspects, Donald Howard, 18, and Jordan Zachary Leday, 27, have been arrested in connection to a shooting death in Aurora’s Dayton Triangle neighborhood. The Aurora Police Department announced that both individuals are facing a first-degree murder charge as suspects in the Monday shooting of a 20-year-old victim in the 1500 block of South Galena Way.
The arrests were made by the Regional Anti-Violence Enforcement Network as part of a Colorado Organized Crime Control Act investigation. Leday was apprehended on Wednesday by Aurora police on an outstanding warrant. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
