Two individuals have tragically lost their lives in a shooting incident that occurred in Thousand Oaks on Friday morning. The incident was reported to Ventura County deputies at approximately 6:38 a.m. through a 911 call, which detailed a shooting in the 100 block of Jerome Avenue. Ventura County public information officer Capt. Dean Worthy provided the following information.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies encountered a 31-year-old woman who resides at the location and was unharmed. Inside the residence, law enforcement discovered a 30-year-old man who was promptly transported to the hospital. Regrettably, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Additionally, a 33-year-old man was found deceased at the scene.
Authorities have confirmed that there are no outstanding suspects, and the public is not at risk. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident is ongoing.
