Kytana Ancog’s mother dropped her off at her father’s Kaulainahee Place home near Honolulu on Jan. 31, 2021. This was the last time anyone saw Ancog, who was 18 months old. She and her father, Travis Rodrigues, disappeared for two weeks until he was arrested in Ko Olina on Feb. 13.
Rodrigues was charged with second-degree murder. Court documents claim he hit and shook his daughter on Feb. 4. after she had a coughing fit. He then put her body in a duffel bag and gave it to an accomplice, Scott Michael Carter, who disposed of it. Rodrigues is currently awaiting trial. Ancog’s body has not been found.
