Trio of Juvenile Bank Robbers Arrested in Houston Heist

Three young boys, aged 11, 12, and 16, have been apprehended by the FBI in connection with a bank robbery at a Wells Fargo branch in Houston. The trio, who have been dubbed the “Little Rascals” by the FBI, were charged with robbery by threat, according to the FBI’s Field Office in Houston. Due to their status as juveniles, their identities and further details have not been disclosed.

Following the robbery last Thursday, images of the three suspects were widely circulated. Despite their youthful appearances, the boys were seen wearing hoodies, appearing far too young to drive or even watch an R-rated movie. Witnesses initially estimated their ages to be between 14 and 18, as reported by the FBI last week.

The FBI’s reference to the group as the “Little Rascals” draws parallels to the 1994 film “The Little Rascals,” where a group of young boys experience conflicts due to one of them having a crush on a girl. Some social media users have taken a lighthearted approach to the incident, with one jokingly suggesting a sentence of one year without television and a three-page essay on the consequences of robbery.
