Toddler and Two Adults Fatally Shot in Florida During Argument Over Dog Sale

A tragic incident unfolded in Jacksonville, Florida, where a toddler and two adults were shot dead following an argument over a dog sale. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) responded to reports of shots fired at an apartment complex on Sunday night at approximately 10 p.m.

According to JSO Assistant Chief J.D. Stronko, it was determined that four adults and a 3-year-old had traveled to the apartments, possibly for a private dog sale. A dispute erupted in a breezeway between two of the apartment buildings, resulting in four out of the five individuals being shot.

The deceased adults, along with at least one other person, who sustained injuries, were in their 20s. The condition of the wounded individual has not been disclosed at this time. Limited information is available regarding the suspects, but witnesses reported seeing two Black males fleeing the scene, possibly in a black sedan.

The investigation is still in its early stages, and interviews with victims and witnesses are ongoing. Search warrants have been issued for some apartments within the complex. The JSO is urging anyone with information to come forward and contact them directly or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
