Three New Yorkers Fatally Shot in Separate Incidents Across New York City

Three New Yorkers lost their lives in a series of shootings that occurred in different locations across New York City on Sunday night. Among the victims were two teenagers, according to authorities.

The first incident took place in Harlem, where police responded to a shooting at approximately 7:27 p.m. Upon arrival at the scene near East 128th Street and Lexington Avenue, law enforcement discovered Ashley Ballard, an 18-year-old woman, and 25-year-old Harry Mendoza with gunshot wounds. Ballard, a resident of East Harlem, succumbed to her injuries shortly after 8 p.m. at Harlem Hospital. Mendoza, who resided in Upper Manhattan, initially listed in critical condition, later passed away around 10 p.m.

The relationship between the two victims and whether they were targeted remains unclear at this time.

Approximately 20 minutes later, in Brooklyn, a 17-year-old boy named Bryan Henriquez was shot in the neck and torso near 256 East 37th St. Emergency Medical Services rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No motive has been determined for either shooting, and investigations are ongoing. As of now, no arrests have been made.
