Three Boys Arrested for Bank Robbery in Houston

Three boys, aged 11, 12, and 16, known as the “Little Rascals,” have been apprehended by authorities in Houston for their involvement in a bank robbery. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed their arrest and stated that the youngsters have been charged with robbery by threat. Due to their young ages, no further details have been disclosed at this time. The FBI’s Houston office had previously issued a warrant for their arrest in connection with the robbery of a Wells Fargo bank located in the Greenspoint area of north Houston on March 14.

Surveillance footage from the bank captured all three boys wearing hoodies inside the lobby. The video evidence, along with witness statements, led to their identification as the primary suspects. According to reports, the boys handed a threatening note to a teller before making their escape on foot with an undisclosed sum of money. Following the release of their photos, the parents of two of the boys recognized their children, while a law enforcement officer identified the third boy after an unrelated altercation.

As investigations continue, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI are working together to gather additional information regarding the incident. The motive behind the boys’ actions remains unknown. The FBI’s Houston office has yet to provide further details regarding the case.
