Keanna Rosenburgh, 17, was apprehended on Thursday in Barstow, California, according to a statement from the Denver Police Department. Rosenburgh was sought in relation to a September 16 shooting incident outside Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Market Street in downtown Denver, which resulted in injuries to five individuals.
Previous accounts of the incident indicated that Rosenburgh became agitated when she was denied entry to the bar due to issues with her identification. Surveillance footage reportedly shows a woman, identified as Rosenburgh, aiming a firearm towards the establishment.
Fortunately, all the injured individuals survived the shooting.
Rosenburgh faces eight counts of investigation for first-degree attempted homicide and is presently detained in California.
The successful apprehension of Rosenburgh was the outcome of a collaborative effort involving several law enforcement entities, including two FBI teams. The Denver Police Department credited Metro Denver Crime Stoppers’ tips in identifying Rosenburgh as the primary suspect.
