Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting in Denver

Denver Police Department announced on Wednesday that a suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Denver. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Quadre Lamb, is being held for investigation of first-degree murder. The shooting occurred at approximately 1:10 a.m. on August 17 in the 2200 block of Welton Street. The victim, Danzel Atkins, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lamb was taken into custody on Tuesday. The Denver Police Department released a statement on their official Twitter account, confirming the arrest. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and further details have not been disclosed at this time.
