A suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting and killing of 19-year-old Keelin Collins at a basketball court in Puyallup, Washington. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department apprehended the suspect, identified as Hartman, after a chase and subsequent crash.
On September 3rd, Collins was fatally shot at the basketball court, prompting an investigation by local authorities. Yesterday afternoon, the sheriff’s department spotted Hartman driving a stolen black sedan. When they attempted to pull him over, he fled, leading to a pursuit.
During the chase, Hartman crashed the stolen vehicle and was subsequently pinned down by deputies. He was then taken into custody.
Hartman was arraigned today, and his bail has been set at $1.5 million. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and authorities are working to gather further evidence and information related to the case.
