A violent altercation between two students outside M.S. 2 in Brooklyn resulted in one student being slashed in the face, according to authorities. The incident occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Friday, on Parkside Avenue between Rogers and Nostrand Avenues.
The school safety office reported that the dispute originated on a bus, where a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old engaged in an argument. Upon arriving at the school premises, the 13-year-old allegedly used a sharp object to slash the 14-year-old across the face. Prompt medical attention was provided, and the injured student was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, medical professionals expect the victim to survive the attack.
Law enforcement took the 13-year-old assailant into custody following the incident. The investigation into the motive behind the altercation and the weapon used is ongoing.
