Standoff Ensues as Fugitive Barricades Himself in Sandy, Utah

A standoff unfolded in Sandy, Utah on Thursday night when the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Strike Team attempted to apprehend a wanted fugitive. Upon spotting the team, the fugitive swiftly retreated back inside and barricaded himself, according to authorities. The incident took place near the intersection of 1800 East and 10000 South, with Sandy City providing assistance in containing the area. Their task force has been deployed to aid in communication efforts.

    Upon arrival, the marshals found the fugitive barricaded inside the house and refusing to surrender.
