On August 22, 2023, authorities from the Crimes Against Children Unit arrested 28-year-old Kyle Kiley of St. Petersburg on multiple charges. The charges include Lewd and Lascivious Molestation, Promoting Sexual Performance by a Child, Possession of Child Pornography, and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device.
The investigation began after a concerned woman reported that her 6-year-old child had been sexually abused by an individual she knew. Detectives identified the suspect as Kyle Kiley, residing at 5701 Haines Road in Unincorporated St. Petersburg.
Further investigation revealed that Kiley had engaged in inappropriate physical contact with the child and had recorded these actions on his cellphone. The woman promptly notified law enforcement upon discovering the incriminating videos.
Kiley was taken into custody and is currently held at Pinellas County Jail following his arrest. During the course of the inquiry, investigators discovered over one hundred and sixty images and three videos involving bestiality on Kiley’s cellphone. These recordings depicted Kiley engaging in sexual acts with a small black and white French Bulldog. The dog did not belong to Kiley and showed no visible signs of injury.
On September 7, 2023, detectives added charges related to Sexual Activity Involving Animals against Kiley. He remains in custody at Pinellas County Jail.
