Sister of Double-Murder Suspect Arrested for Allegedly Aiding in Escape

Laquesha Monique McKnight, 38, of Longview, Texas, has been arrested for allegedly aiding her brother, Alvin McKnight Jr., in escaping the Upshur County area. Alvin McKnight Jr. is the suspect in a double murder case that occurred on November 4.

Authorities have accused Laquesha of assisting her brother in evading law enforcement after he allegedly murdered two women. When confronted by the police with evidence, Laquesha reportedly refused to cooperate further.

Laquesha is currently held in the Upshur County Jail, with a bond set at $500,000. Authorities believe that other individuals, including family and friends, may have also assisted Alvin McKnight Jr. in evading law enforcement. The investigation is ongoing.
