British singer Jess Glynne, known for her hit “Hold My Hand,” reportedly experienced a distressing period in 2019 when she became the focus of a stalker’s attention. The 34-year-old artist, who has recently been in the media spotlight following the confirmation of her relationship with sports pundit Alex Scott, was said to be deeply troubled by the incident.

According to sources cited by The Sun, Glynne felt unsafe leaving her residence after a woman purportedly began appearing outside her London home, unsettlingly observing her. This individual allegedly held a football and engaged in surveillance of the singer around the clock, leaving Glynne too apprehensive to venture outside, uncertain of the individual’s intentions.

The situation escalated to the point where law enforcement was contacted. Police officers confronting the woman found her in possession of a folder containing undisclosed material related to Glynne. The contents, described as “pretty sinister” by the source, were not revealed to the singer. Following the incident, the stalker was reportedly sent back to Sweden.

This revelation comes amidst Glynne’s publicized romance with Alex Scott. The two, having been introduced by friends, have been seen displaying affection publicly and attended events together, though they maintained a low profile in the early stages of their relationship. Alex Scott recently celebrated Glynne’s birthday by posting a photo of her on social media.

Glynne, who took a break from her musical career, has made a comeback, expressing in an interview with Metro.co.uk a renewed sense of self-assurance. This resurgence aligns with the timeline of her burgeoning relationship with Scott, just before the Women’s World Cup.
