A video shoot in Florida took a violent turn on Thursday when an assailant opened fire, resulting in one fatality and one injury. Rapper Sexyy Red was filming a music video with a group of extras at the Oakland Park Flea Market in the afternoon when an individual nearby pulled out a gun and began shooting. The suspect quickly fled the scene. Two individuals were struck by the gunfire, with one pronounced dead at the location. The other victim was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment, and their condition remains unknown.
Broward County Sheriff’s deputies are currently investigating whether the shooting is related to the video shoot.
Videos posted on Instagram depict the aftermath of the incident, showing one injured victim on the ground and others calmly walking through the strip mall.
Attempts to reach Sexyy Red for comment have been unsuccessful thus far.
