A woman’s severed head found in a canal in London has been connected to dismembered body parts discovered in a suitcase earlier in the week, according to a British court hearing on Friday.
Arizo Nour, 33, appeared via video link at the Old Bailey, charged with the murder of a 57-year-old woman. Prosecutors revealed that human body parts were initially found in a canal off Bulls Bridge Lane, and a bag containing a severed head, believed to be the same victim, was found in the canal on Thursday. Authorities were alerted to the case after a residence with large quantities of blood was found on August 6.
Nour is currently in police custody, and no application for bail has been made.
