San Francisco Man Arrested for Auto Burglary in Portola Valley Parking Lot

A 39-year-old San Francisco man, Jeiner Ocampo Quintero, was apprehended by San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Friday after being observed looking into unoccupied vehicles in the Windy Hill parking lot located in the 500 block of Portola Valley. The arrest took place at approximately 11 a.m. when authorities made contact with Quintero, who matched the description of a suspect involved in a previous auto burglary in the area a few weeks prior.

During the arrest, Quintero was found to be in possession of multiple burglary tools, further implicating him in the alleged criminal activity. Following the arrest, he was booked on charges of auto burglary, tampering with a vehicle, and possession of burglary tools. Quintero is currently being held at the Maguire Correctional Facility.
