Rosie O’Donnell’s Grandson Found in Meth-Filled Wisconsin House, Daughter Arrested for Child Neglect and Drug Possession

Rosie O’Donnell’s infant grandson was discovered living in a squalid Wisconsin residence, filled with drug paraphernalia, dirty diapers, rotting food, garbage, and razor blades. The talk show host’s daughter, Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, who was adopted by O’Donnell as a baby, was subsequently arrested on charges of child neglect and drug possession.

According to reports, Chelsea called the police last month following a dispute with her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund. However, when the authorities arrived at Chelsea’s home, they found the couple downplaying the incident. During their investigation, officers stumbled upon 11-month-old Atlas in his room, near a box of hypodermic needles and a meth pipe containing residue. Additionally, evidence suggested possible drug trafficking activities within the house, as a setup for cooking meth was discovered.

Police reported that Chelsea had 18 grams of meth in her possession, leading to her being charged with four felony counts, including maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, possession of meth, and possession of THC. Marinette County also charged her with two misdemeanors, namely disorderly conduct and possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs.

The condition of the house was deplorable, with rotting food, moldy dishes, and unsanitary items scattered throughout. Documents obtained by In Touch revealed the presence of milk emitting a putrid stench, used female hygiene products, unclean underwear with feces and blood stains, and used razor blades on the floor. Under a baby crib, a digital scale and other drug paraphernalia were discovered by one of the officers.

Upon arrival, both Chelsea and Nelund appeared to be under the influence of drugs, exhibiting signs of jitteriness and profuse sweating. Police alleged that the couple prioritized their drug addiction over providing a safe and clean environment for their child.

A month later, on October 11, Chelsea was pulled over by the police, resulting in her arrest for possessing a meth pipe. Authorities also found pills, including Oxycodone, Morphine Sulfate, and Hydrocodone, concealed in her bra. She now faces charges of meth possession, bail jumping, and possession of narcotics, all of which are felonies. Chelsea is scheduled to appear in court in November to address both cases.

Rosie O’Donnell, 62, has had an on-and-off estranged relationship with Chelsea over the years. Rosie and her ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter, adopted Chelsea as a baby, but she moved out in 2016 at the age of 18 to be closer to her biological mother. Rosie has previously spoken about Chelsea’s mental illness and her struggles with addiction, stating that she is not capable of truth or reason.
