Dr. Khursheed Haider, a respected Roseville doctor, has been arrested and accused of possessing child pornography. The arrest followed an undercover operation conducted by the FBI. Dr. Haider, 48, has been held without bail at the Sacramento County Main Jail since his arrest on November 20.
The FBI’s Honolulu division initiated an investigation into the trading of child pornography. During the operation, agents assumed the online identity of a suspect and discovered a user named “kingg” who was allegedly involved in the posting, distribution, and request of explicit materials, including images of pre-pubescent children, bestiality, and BDSM.
The investigation led authorities to Dr. Haider’s residence in Roseville. With a search warrant in hand, FBI agents and other law enforcement officers conducted a search of his home. Court documents indicate that several files of child pornography were found on Dr. Haider’s phone.
The case involving Dr. Haider’s alleged possession of child pornography is considered breaking news and falls under the category of true crime.
