Retired NYPD Chief Apprehends Pill-Toting Teens Trespassing in His Yard

In a surprising turn of events, Joseph Reznick, the former head of the NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau, sprang into action on Wednesday to apprehend two teenagers who were trespassing in his yard. Witnesses and police sources confirm that Reznick, 72, held the 15- and 17-year-old males at gunpoint after they jumped over his fence on 89th Ave in Bellerose, Queens.

Upon arriving at the scene around 8 p.m., officers discovered that the teenagers were in possession of 10 oxycodone pills. Prior to the incident, a group of five teens, two of whom were wearing ski masks, were seen walking down the road, raising suspicions among residents who believed they were up to no good.

One neighbor, who preferred to remain anonymous, stated, “I saw it, and I said it doesn’t look right. They were walking in the street, talking. I didn’t see them anymore. Then I see a bicycle go flying past, then I see the lights and cops.” The group of teenagers sought refuge in another neighbor’s backyard, but when the police arrived, three of them fled down the road while two decided to jump Reznick’s fence.

Reznick, known for his extensive security measures, had cameras installed throughout his property. Armed with his gun, he confronted the trespassers, ensuring they remained in his yard until the authorities arrived. One of the teenagers claimed they came from Queens Village and had encountered someone who threatened them with a knife, prompting their escape.

Ultimately, the police managed to apprehend three of the teenagers east of Reznick’s house, while the retired chief held the remaining two. The incident left neighbors shocked, with one resident, Ashan Ali, expressing his surprise, stating, “That’s scary. We don’t see stuff like this… That’s wild.”

  1. This is absolutely outrageous! How dare these pill-toting teens think they can trespass on someone’s property without consequences? It’s even more shocking that they chose to invade the yard of a retired NYPD Chief, someone who dedicated their life to upholding the law and protecting the community.

These teenagers clearly have no respect for private property or authority. It’s a disgrace that they would engage in such illegal activities, especially with drugs involved. This incident highlights the growing problem of youth delinquency and the lack
